About Me
I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist working with adults. I support a wide range of people, helping them to understand and cope with challenges such as anxiety, depression, isolation, loneliness, trauma and low self-esteem. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
I specialise in bereavement and loss. Grief after the death of someone important can be profound and may take on many forms. Grief can also arise from a range of life experiences, such as the end of a relationship, periods of change, shifts in identity, or the absence of love, safety or belonging. However things are feeling for you at the moment, I offer a space where this can be held with compassion and care. I also have experience of working with survivors of trauma and abuse. Whatever form your grief and pain take, I offer a space where this can be held with compassion and care.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked for fifteen years in the corporate and creative industries, giving me an understanding of what it’s like to work in high-pressure environments. I've seen how stress, burnout, and self-doubt can build over time and leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from yourself and the people around you. This experience informs the way I work as a therapist, allowing me to offer support with a real appreciation of the challenges many people face in busy, demanding lives.
